What Is Check Valve
Check valves are also known as backflow valves, backstop valves, back pressure valves and check valves.
These valves are automatically opened and closed by the force generated by the flow of the medium itself in the pipeline, belonging to a kind of automatic valve.

Function of check valve
Prevent backflow of media
check valve can prevent backflow of media, it only has a flow direction, along the direction of the inlet flow, to prevent water or other media to backflow. When the inlet pressure is greater than the weight of the valve flap and the sum of its flow resistance, the valve is open; conversely, the media backflow valve is closed.
Prevent the pump and drive motor reversal
because the check valve is automatic, only in one direction of flow pressure valve will open. When the liquid flows in the opposite direction, by the fluid pressure and the self-weight of the valve flap cooperates in the valve seat, thus cutting off the flow, and thus preventing the pump and drive motor reversal.
Increase pressure
