Y Type Strainer is a commonly used filtering device for filtering impurities and particles from liquids or gases.

he working principle is as follows:

The feed fluid enters the inlet port of the Y-type strainer and enters the interior of the strainer through the feed pipe.

There is a Y-shaped structure inside the filter, and the feed fluid will be diverted into two flow directions after entering.

In the diversion pipe of the Y-filter, there is a filter net or filter basket, which is used to catch and filter out the impurities and particles in the fluid. These impurities and particles will be blocked on the screen or filter basket, while the clean fluid will continue to flow through the manifold.

When enough contaminants and particles have accumulated on the screen or filter basket, it can be cleaned and replaced by removing the screen or filter basket.

Clean fluid continues to flow out the outlet of the Y-strainer, completing the filtration process.
