Description
Sanitary Clamped Check Valve is designed to prevent backflow in the installation of process piping. The series is a spring check valve with different connection ends.
Working principle
When the pressure below the valve plug exceeds the pressure and spring force above the valve plug, the one-way valve opens. After the pressure is equalized, the valve closes.
Material
Material: AISI-304 or AISI-316L
Standard gasket material: EPDM compliant with FDA 21CFR177.2600
Options
O-rings and gaskets can be silicon or fluorine rubber, and both meet the requirements of FDA 21CFR177.2600.
End connection: butt welding, clamp, external thread, nut, bushing or flange or other requirements.
Design Features
The stainless steel valve body ensures a non-porous, smooth surface and dimensionally stable structure. The valve body is divided into two parts, assembled by standard clamps, and sealed with standard gaskets. The automatic drainage design of the lower valve body enables the product to be flushed. The ribbed stainless steel disc can resist heavy pressure hammers, minimize the flow resistance, and can also be used as a guide device for the valve plug. All valve seats and seals are made of FDA approved materials.
The figure above shows the default configuration. Horizontal position is also allowed. The four guide legs of the valve ensure good alignment.

Maximum pressure: 10bar (145psi)
Cracking pressure: 0.3bar (DN25) 0.2bar (DN32-40) 0.1bar (DN50-100). The opening pressure can be set according to customer requirements.
